MTI’s Annual Healing ʿUmrah Trip provides fully sponsored ʿUmrah opportunities for those who cannot afford the journey—prioritizing community heroes, trauma survivors, struggling youth, and new converts.

At Measured Tones Institute, travel is not just about destinations—it is about healing, transformation, and access. Our flagship travel experience is the Annual Healing ʿUmrah Trip, a spiritually restorative journey designed for those who need it most and may never otherwise have the opportunity to go.
Consistent with our commitment to accessibility and “No Muslim Left Behind,” we sponsor at least half of all ʿUmrah slots each year. To date, MTI has raised nearly a quarter of a million dollars to sponsor individuals to perform ʿUmrah free and clear. Sponsorship typically covers the full cost of the trip, and in many cases includes a stipend for food and gifts, allowing participants to focus entirely on worship, reflection, and healing.

All sponsored candidates must not be able to afford ʿUmrah on their own and must have never performed ʿUmrah before.
